Today we launched the Brand New Crickhowell Community Website. The new site features a new design and completely revamped features.
Put simply, quite a lot. We have redesigned your our listings to make them clearer and easier to understand. Each listing now features a your name, thumbnail and a list of tabs. Every listing will have at least a 'Details' tab which displays all the details you have provided to us. You may also have a 'Home' tab, 'Location Map' tab and 'Contact' tab.
This depends on the information you have provided us. If we have an email address, we will display the 'Contact' tab with an email contact form. If we have a postcode, we will display a 'Location Map' tag. If you have a full page subscription, you will have a 'Home' tab.
We've improved the structure of the listings pages to improve their Search Engine Optimisation. The listings now have proper page titles and we've reduced the amount of duplicated content. We are now also starting to track outgoing links (i.e. links to your website), so in the future we will be able to tell you how many people we are sending to your website.
We've updated the design and overhauled the existing system to fix some of the bugs. You now also have an 'Inbox' which allows you to view any messages sent to you through the contact form on your listing. From here, you can report spam email to us so we can detect where forms are being targeted.
