Crickhowell District Forum (CDF)
Crickhowell District Forum was established in 2003 as part of Powys' Community Strategy process. The aim is to get local people to put forward their views, which can then be incorporated into the County's Strategy document. The Crickhowell District Forum covers the communities of Crickhowell, Llangattock, Glangrwyney, Llangynidr, Cwmddu & Tretower. The Forum is chaired by Anthony M D'Anna, and The Crickhowell Resource and Information Centre carry out the Secretariat's role.
The Themes that the Forum have addressed include The Environment; Health, Social Care & Wellbeing; Education & Lifelong Learning; Community Safety and Economic Development.
The Forum has also produced a Local Action Plan looking at the detail of how local projects can be progressed.
