About Us

Crickhowell Resource & Information Centre (CRiC) , a registered charity located in the heart of Crickhowell's busy town provides computer access, training, high tech digital photocopying facilities and office services to the community.   CRiC produces a bi-monthly newsletter and regularly provides support to a number of local groups and charitable organisations.   CRiC also manages the Court Room and the Market Hall in the town under licence from Powys County Council.  

 

CRiC is a company limited by guarantee with 10 Directors with a wide range of skills and experience and who are trustees of the charity.   CRiC employs 3 members of staff on a part-time basis and volunteers provide the day to day services.   CRiC currently operates from the Market Hall in the High Street and is open mon-fri 10am �4pm

Crickhowell Resource & Information Centre Project (CRiC) 

  • Construction of a community resource & information centre comprising 2 floors (386.1m 2 ) to be situated in Beaufort Street:

•  Art Gallery

•  All weather tourist attraction

•  Local information point

•  Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau

•  Crickhowell Archive Centre

•  Public toilets
