Crickhowell Harvest Bounty
01/Oct/2007
Following a most enjoyable Harvest Service in St Edmund’s Church on Tuesday 16th October, the pupils of Year Six of Crickhowell Primary School assembled 170 harvest parcels which were made up from donations of fruit, vegetables and groceries donated by the families of all the pupils. Groups of Year Six then delivered the parcels to Senior Citizens around the town. The Tuesday afternoon delivery was a rather damp affair but Wednesday morning was bright and sunny so that delivery was much more pleasant. The final visit was to Greenhill Care Home where the children delivered a basket of fruit and met some of the residents.
