A date for your diaries - A free family event “Space 2 Grow” will be hosted by Crickhowell Primary School on Saturday 22 May, 10.00am-2.00pm. There is loads going on ... digital photography, cookery, welsh, outdoor fun (bushcraft and survival crafts), wildlife watching, planting and growing, jewellery making, a big draw and even some extreme knitting! Activities are for grown-ups and kids. Come and have a go. We’ve also got a great prize draw – family tickets for the Hay Festival, family tickets for Giffords Circus and family tickets for the Cinema! Come along for a chance to win! On Friday 14th May (7.30pm) you are invited to a free film night at the Clarence Hall, Crickhowell, with a special screening of The Age of Stupid – Oscar nominated Pete Postlethwaite stars in this film about climate change, there is also a chance to hear more about the Green Valleys Project. On Saturday 15 May(10.00am) a whole week of free activities at Arts Alive kicks off with a Recycled Fashion Workshop; other activities include Tai Chi, Print Making, Pottery, Digital Photography, Pilates, Street Dance and Sculpture.
