Crickhowell Walking Festival 2008
General Information
All our walks are led by volunteer guides who know the local area well.
Please check carefully the details of the walk and ensure that you select those within your capabilities
You will be expected to ensure that you are properly equipped for the grade and length of walk�for the hill walks boots, warm clothes, hat and waterproofs are essential at this time of year. Walk Leaders have the right to refuse to take anyone on a walk for which they consider they are inadequately prepared.
Bring your own food�unless the walk details say that food is provided. (Short walks finish before lunch and start after lunch, so you may only need bring a snack should you wish.)
Please follow the instructions of the guide. The mountains can be dangerous in adverse weather and it may be necessary to shorten or curtail a walk. Walk Leaders will decide on whether a walk can proceed or be curtailed. Walkers are requested to respect their decision.
Dogs may be brought on most walks, but please ensure that you have a lead for them and that you follow the requirements of the Countryside Rights of Way Act. Please follow the instructions of your leader.
We may have to alter the programme at short notice due to weather or other circumstances, we will try and keep you informed of any changes and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
